Rappers beware. We have a new star in town. LaMelo Ball’s brother LiAngelo Ball has been making shockwaves recently. Keeping basketball on the side for a while, the 26-year-old has chosen to become a rapper. And the NBA world is having the time of their lives. So, what if a comeback in basketball isn’t happening? Music is there! The hoopster is turning LeBron James‘ past predictions into reality… However, the only person missing out on the hype is Draymond Green.
On the Draymond Green Show, the 34-year-old Warriors veteran admitted to co-host Baron Davis: “I’m gonna be honest with you BD. I may be the only person in the walk of life that I live in, that I haven’t heard the song.” So, this is what ‘living under the rock’ looks like. Wow! Davis then went on to explain to Dray how LiAngelo has done a commendable job for his debut drop, which has a very 2000s feel. “You gonna be like, ‘Yo, I remember this song when I was growing up.’ That’s how it gets you,” BD added.

Witnessing the hype, Draymond Green then immediately recalled that King James had already predicted the future. “So, LeBron was right. Gelo ain’t necessarily making it in basketball, but you saying, he’s about to make it as a rapper. So LeBron was right all along,” Green shared. So, it looks like Bron knew it all this while. LaMelo Ball’s brother could be something beyond a basketball player!

But well, the Warriors’ floor general didn’t stop there. He took a short break from the podcast and heard the rap after Davis admitted that he had people trying to book LiAngelo for shows already! Probably, ‘FOMO’ stepped in, and Dray wanted to hear the track!
Just a few seconds in, the Bay Area veteran then went to the extent of proposing an invitation to LiAngelo to perform at the 2025 All-Star Games Halftime show. “All right Gelo! The halftime show of the All-Star Game, What up? Bring in Gelo to the All-Star Game.” Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ locker room went feral for the upcoming rapper.

LiAngelo Ball turns LeBron James’ verdict into reality as Tweaker hits the Cavs locker room
So, fans have a unique habit of adding LeBron James’ ‘Le’ before his new identity. Good or bad. Thus, keeping in mind his predictions for LaMelo Ball‘s brother, can we say LePredictor? That shouldn’t be a problem, for sure. Now, coming back to Tweaker, the track that got the NBA world in a chokehold. It has reached the Cleveland Cavaliers locker room. And dare we say it, it was an immediate hit.
Right after the song was released on Friday, it was played in the Cavs locker room. Interestingly enough, some of the players already knew the lyrics! These players must’ve been listening to Tweaker on loop! Meanwhile, this rare sight impressed Cleveland’s superman Donovan Mitchell. In a video shared by NBA Central on X, Spida Mitchell was seen stopping midway in disbelief during his post-game interview.
He couldn’t help but say: “The fact that you know the words. The song just came out bro! Shoutout to LiAngelo Ball I guess.”
