Will LeBron James leave the Los Angeles Lakers for the Philadelphia 76ers? His future in LA has been up in the air for a while: will he opt out of his $51.4 million player option and sign an extension, or is the 76ers really an option? Well, adding fuel to the Philly rumors was an alleged picture of Bron secretly meeting with Sixers head coach Nick Nurse. But just like every other time LeBron and Savannah step up for each other, King James’ wife comes in clutch once again to dispel those rumors, giving fans a glimpse of Bron’s actual whereabouts.

The picture in question – which undeniably must’ve made many Lakers fans’ stomachs drop – showed four people having lunch at Sky High in Philly, claiming that it was LeBron James, Nick Nurse, and Daryl Morey. Since the picture was taken from a distance, the faces weren’t clear enough to figure out if the claim was true. But it did leave everyone concerned about the King potentially leaving LA for good. But Savannah James’ Instagram activity almost certainly proves that the LeBron James-like person in the picture wasn’t, in fact, the 20-time All-Star.

It’s no secret that the NBA’s most famous couple are dedicated to fitness and healthcare. The sheer longevity of LeBron James’ career is a testament to how well their methods have worked. From the Lakers forward going on Paleo diets to Savannah engaging in intermittent fasting, it looks like the power couple has found yet another bio-hack to improve their well-being. An Instagram story Savannah posted featured her and LeBron’s arms with IV drips attached. The caption read, “Ozone… A love language.”

While the “love language” presumably referred to just spending time with her husband, it’s possible that the “ozone” referred to ozone therapy. Although the colorless gas made up of three oxygen atoms is harmful when someone inhales it, a 2011 review suggested that it can have therapeutic effects in medical contexts, too. Due to the limited research done on ozone therapy, official organizations haven’t approved it yet. Considering this, Savannah’s post may have raised certain questions in Lakers fans’ minds, one of which would definitely be: Is everything okay in the James household?

Well, this wasn’t the first time Savannah James has tried a bio-hack. In February, she posted a similar picture of her arm with an IV drip (which was labeled “Water Station”). But instead of ozone therapy, the caption read, “biohack me, please.” Seeing as Savannah and her family know better than anyone what works for them to continue staying fit, it’s safe to assume that all is certainly well. And because of her “ozone” update, it looks like all will most likely be well in the Lakers Nation, too!

From the picture Savannah posted, it was evident that she and LeBron James were somewhere comfortable, almost homely. That would suggest that the 39-year-old wasn’t in Philly, considering both these pictures surfaced within hours of each other. And why would a veteran like him – who’s been around for so long – want to put himself at risk of violating the league’s tampering rules? He would certainly know that breaking the policy could lead to a $10 million fine for the officials, and the league even has the authority to void the free agent signings and trades if found guilty.

To further debunk the rumors – talked about by morning shows, too – podcaster Spike Eskin clarified who everyone mistook LeBron for. He tweeted, “The photo that the @WIPMorningShow is talking about with Daryl Morey is not him with LeBron. It is Daryl, Elton Brand, Nick Nurse, and Josh Harris at the Four Seasons. Per source with knowledge of the situation. I am 100% confident.” That said, LeBron James even had good reason to be in Los Angeles. In fact, he must’ve felt there was nowhere he’d rather have been!

LeBron James is likely in LA for a special occasion

Apart from the several hints that the person in the photo wasn’t LeBron, there is one more reason why many believe he would rather be in LA right now. It’s his younger son Bryce James’ birthday! Yes, it is his 17th, and LBJ could very well be with his family back home to enjoy this special day. Moreover, the entire James family showered Bryce with love and wishes on social media, showcasing how important a day it was for each of them. Even LeBron shared a collage of Bryce as a kid and all grown on his Instagram story, writing, “A YOUNG KING’S BDAY!!!”

Following in his father’s footsteps, Bronny wished his younger brother on his special day, “Happy bday my dawgggg,” along with a heart emoji. Savannah shared an entire post with Bryce’s pictures and captioned it, “Happiest Birthday @_justbryce!!! I CAN NOT believe you are 17. Even though you canceled all of our birthday fun, 🙄 we celebrate you today!! 😂 I love you beyond the universe!! 😘🤗.” She even shared the post on her story and wrote, “The most handsome birthday boy!!!”

With so much evidence pointing to LeBron being in LA instead of Philly, the viral image with Nick Nurse might have been a false alarm for the Lakers.
