LeBron James’ Practice Fit Pins A’ja Wilson’s Faithful vs Angel Reese Fans

When you are a celebrity, be that in any field, every aspect of your life, from the food you eat to the outfits that you put together, will be under the microscopic eyes of the world. Why do you think you never find celebrities with a real woken-up-from-bed look? Even those who walk out in the so-called casual look would have had a careful analysis and approbation from their stylists. The more popular one is, the less the margin for error. Unless you are LeBron James. 

You see, these celebrities are also responsible for bringing waves in fashion. With athleisure being the go-to for many these days, athletes also find themselves as fashion icons. The NBA’s very own icon is none other than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but with the kind of fame that King James has, even SGA will find himself a little down the ladder. But James’ latest video of a practice session is going viral for all the wrong reasons. LeBron was seen sporting a legging on one leg while wearing short shorts. The user who shared the video had a hilarious caption for the tweet. “Angel Reese influence on the game will be remembered.”

Interestingly though, this isn’t the first time that LeBron James wore super short shorts. The Lakers’ superstar’s on-court fashion seems to be developing and changing like how a teenager would go through different phases. When he started as a rookie in 2003, the ‘Akron Hammer’ favored the knee-length, wide style. In 2015, he had hinted that he was going to swap the long shorts for something shorter.

Bron’s reason? To appear more professional. Fast forward to 2017 and he seemed to have taken his “professional” look to a whole another level. This time, too, James was seen with shorts rolled up to his thigh, much like the above video. Except, he did not have a legging. And the honor of that trend goes completely to Angel Reese. Or is it A’ja Wilson?

The popular verdict is out! X users do think James is influenced by Wilson and Reese for the perfect fit check in his practice sessions. The ‘Bayou Barbie’ undoubtedly dresses to the T wherever she goes. Her signature one-legged legging basketball attire and eyelashes have become quite popular. And it seems like LeBron James might have borrowed it from the LSU superstar. But there are a lot who would say differently.

While A’ja and Angel fans are engaged in a back-and-forth, there is another group that is endorsing Flo-Jo, the American field and track athlete known for her diverse fashion in the ’80s. Say what you want, but there is no doubt that LeBron James pulls off the look effortlessly!
