The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a heartbreaking loss against the Phoenix Suns last night. LeBron James and Co. have two days off before they get back on the court again to face the LA Clippers. And King James is utilizing his days off to spend quality time with his family. LeBron risked his wife, Savannah James’ wrath, and posted a wholesome story with his daughter, Zhuri James, on Instagram.
LeBron and his 9-year-old daughter started the day by having a delicious breakfast with each other. The Lakers superstar shared glimpses of the meal on social media and wrote, “Daddy Daughter Day!!! No School / No Rules! Hahaha! Sorry.” The 39-year-old apologized to his wife in the video for spoiling Zhuri by enjoying a no-rules day with her. The father-daughter duo also watched some cartoons along with the breakfast to make things even better. Zhuri was visibly excited to spend the day with her father and could not stop laughing in the video.
This is not the first time LeBron has spent some alone time with his daughter. The father-daughter duo frequently bond over meals without Savannah. Just a few weeks ago, LeBron shared another video while he was on a lunch date with Zhuri. Even then, Zhuri had a lot of fun as she used fries as a spoon to eat her food. “She’s Insane.” King James wrote about his daughter. It is great to see that LeBron does not let his profession get in the way of his family time. Despite the Lakers losing yesterday, LeBron was in a jovial mood during his day off with Zhuri.

LeBron James will be all business on Wednesday
While King James is cooling off with his family during his days off, he will lock in again on Wednesday when the Lakers face the Clippers. The Lakers are 1-2 since the season restarted following the All-Star Break. They are currently stuck at the 9th spot in the Western Conference standings with a 31-28 record. With only 23 games remaining in the regular season, LeBron James and Co. need to make a run to bag a higher seed and avoid the play-in tournament. Every game is crucial for the Lakers, and LeBron needs to lock in and lead his team to victory.
LeBron has been the best player on the Lakers squad this season. He is averaging 25 points, 7.9 assists, and 7.2 rebounds. At 39 years old, LeBron knows he does not have many years left in the league. So, the 4-time Champion wants to make the best of his time and win another ring while he can. Hopefully, LeBron’s father-daughter day with Zhuri will help him refresh and get ready for the remainder of the season.
