LeBron James loves his tattoos. The Lakers legend grew into this habit of getting inked in 2002 when he got his first tattoo, ‘Chosen 1′. It was the title Sports Illustrated gave him during his days at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School. As King James took over the NBA with his aggressive style of play and on-court domination, he’s also inked his biggest inspirations, like ‘B.B.Z.’ and ‘Bryce Maximus’ through the years. Nevertheless, he will soon take to the hardwood again to play his 22nd season, looking to win it all.
Equalling the legendary Vince Carter’s record for the most NBA seasons played, he found this to be the perfect time to get a memorable piece of body art done ahead of the season tipoff! The 4x NBA champion shared a snippet of himself getting a tattoo on his right forearm on his Instagram story. He captioned it, “Back at it my guy!!!!🫡” The Laker has been associated with his tattoo artist Joaquin Ganga for a long time. About a year ago, on September 27, King James got tattooed with a Basquiat crown on his left forearm.
The information about LeBron James‘ latest tattoo, however, is not available yet. Like ‘The Chosen One’ he has various tattoos on his body, including his daughter Zhuri’s face, a winged lion on his chest, a crowned lion on his arm below his mother’s name, ‘Mama 4 Life’ on his left thigh, and a lot more. Each piece of artwork on the hooper’s body depicts something about his loved ones or his personality traits. Artworks like 330 and Est 1984 showcase his roots.

However, it’s not just the Lakers star! Reigning Champion Jayson Tatum also got inked to relish last season’s achievement.
Similar to LeBron James, Jayson Tatum makes Celtics’ feat permanent with fresh ink on his back
Jayson Tatum is celebrating the Celtics‘ Larry O’Brien winning moment. The hooper did not waste time, as he recently got a tattoo, creatively showcasing his latest career achievement on his back! Yes, to celebrate his franchise’s 18th title win over the Dallas Mavericks, JT recreated his ‘winning moment’. He dawned his Championship hat, holding the Larry O’Brien trophy and kissing it.
Above the tattoo, JT got the artist to write, “Proverbs 3:5-6.” It is a verse from the Holy Bible quoted, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Nevertheless, Jayson Tatum is a regular in the tattoo studio every off-season. Even in August, he revealed a tattoo on his body with him lifting the MVP award from the 2023 All-Star game, after setting an All-Star record, scoring 55 points. Moving forward, JT will be on the lookout for another Championship. However, LeBron James won’t let Boston walk over the Western Conference so easily until he is on the court.
