LeBron James Hypes up Florida A&M for Ultimate Glory in College Football

Florida A&M Rattlers defeated the Howard Bison in a thrilling game to become the 2023 Celebration Bowl Champions. Bison took an early 14-0 lead in the first period, leaving the Rattlers fans worried. However, Florida made a historic comeback and won the game 30-26. This was one of the Greatest runs in college football history, as the Rattlers lost only one game throughout the season and dominated with a 12-1 record.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was hyped about Florida A&M’s historic National Championship win and expressed his excitement on social media.

Ecstatic LeBron James celebrates victory

Nike and LeBron James entered a 6-year partnership with Florida A&M University last year. Since then, the 4-time Champion has shown immense support to the Rattlers. LeBron was ecstatic about the Rattlers winning the 2023 Celebration Bowl Championship and took to social media to congratulate them on their historic win. “CHAMPIONS! Yessir!!!” wrote King James on his Instagram story with a Championship post from Florida A&M.

Although the Florida A&M Rattlers eventually came out on top, the game was neck and neck throughout. After Howard took a commanding first-quarter 14-0 lead, the Rattlers muscled a comeback and brought the score to 16-10 at the end of the first half.

The competition became tighter, as no team was able to score a touchdown in the third quarter. The Rattlers dug deep and went 20-10 in the final period, taking home the Championship. This is Willie Simmons’ first National Championship as a college football head coach.

Florida A&M Rattlers received motivation from LeBron James all season

The Rattlers played amazing football throughout the season. The young squad was hungry for a National Championship since the start of the season and they also received immense motivation from LeBron James. The Rattlers are the first college team to dawn the branding of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar on their gear. Not only did they get all apparel branded with Nike and King James’ logos, but the Rattlers also got customized LeBron cleats throughout the season. Even before heading for the Championship game, LeBron surprised the young Rattlers squad with brand new Black and White Celebration Bowl kicks. That definitely would have provided some extra juice to the young Rattlers.

LeBron is in his second year of partnership with Florida A&M. Considering how successful their season went, it does not look like their partnership will end anytime soon. The billionaire has a knack for investing in the right entities to make an impact. Hopefully, LeBron and Florida A&M will have a long-term partnership, and the Rattlers can bring home more Championships working with King James.
