LeBron James added yet another leaf to his and the NBA’s history. Only this time, he had his firstborn by his side. Not just as family, but as a fellow teammate of the LA Lakers. James Sr. and his 20-year-old Bronny James finally etched their names as the first father-son duo of the league. In the presence of icons like Ken Griffey Sr. and Ken Griffey Jr. courtside and the entire James household, the boys walked onto the court together. Although Bronny barely played for 4 minutes or so, it was enough for the home crowd, and especially his dad to relish the much-awaited moment.

With an ovation from the home crowd, the enormous moment of history and legacy encapsulated the arena, even captivating the rivals on-court, the Minnesota Timberwolves. And it seems, LeBron James is still in his land of ecstasy- why shouldn’t he? After all, his dream to see his boy in the league has come true. And not just that, Bron is present beside his son, as compatriots to create the magic, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking for.

While James Sr. played 35 minutes, scoring 16 points, while Bronny James had one rebound in 4 minutes. The epic was so enthralling that even the critics might kept aside their thoughts for a while to soak up the moment. Well, Papa James wasn’t the only one living in the instance! Thus a compilation of all the special moments from the opening game turned into a digital memory. Taking matters to Instagram, LeBron James posted a carousel of images from last night’s game. On-court bits and off-court bits came together in the symphony. However, it was Bron’s caption that stole the show. He wrote: “Hollywood couldn’t write a better script so we helped them write it and brought it to them. HISTORY WAS MADE! #JamesGang”

Bron wasn’t completely wrong when he said even Hollywood couldn’t write a better script. Movies could never fully capture the emotions of the 4x champ walking onto the court with his son. The boy he once held in his arms is now playing in the league with him. There’s no greater joy than this. Such special occasions usually always bring the supporters together. This time wasn’t an exception either because fans and global icons came together to congratulate LeBron James.

Former NBA champion Matt Barnes was one of the first to comment “Incredible.” Many others reacted the same, using fire, goat, and crown emojis. Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx shared similar feelings, writing: “Incredible moment.” Some people said they teared up when Bronny and LeBron walked onto the court together. So, “incredible” might even feel like an understatement for the moment. Meanwhile, WNBA’s Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark double-tapped the post to show her support.
