Age and injuries are often the biggest hurdles for NBA stars, leading some to retire early due to recurring setbacks. Players like Kawhi Leonard and Lonzo Ball have been sidelined season after season. Yet, despite battling similar issues, LeBron James continues to dominate the league. The question remains: how does he manage to stay at the top?
So back in 2018, when Bron was still running the show for the Cleveland Cavaliers, there were some rumors in the market. Former ESPN sportswriter Alex Kennedy reported that Mav Carter said, “LeBron James spends ~$1,500,000 per year on his body.” He uses cryotherapy, hyperbaric chambers, NormaTec leg boots, etc. He also has personal chefs, trainers, etc. Has a strict routine and diet. He invested in his body, so he could still dominate at 33 years old. And well, it might not be a stretch to say, that the Lakers star might be keeping up with his fitness and care rituals to this day.

Meanwhile, Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett also reminded on the All The Smoke YouTube Channel that modern medicine is the key to speedy rehabs and recovery for the likes of Kawhi Leonard. He added: “They saying Bron spending 2 million on your body. You gotta spend some bread on your body. You have to go get the stem cell plasma… Gotta get that help if that ain’t it then you just got to be real with yourself and just shut it down.” This message is not just around the 4x NBA Champ, but also for the hoopers (precisely The Klaw) who are pushing themselves way too hard with no guarantee of return to the court.
However, mystery prevails over the truth of the rumors. Does LeBron James truly spend millions on his body to stay fit? Or are these just speculations? At least, Bron isn’t going to say a word about it. Instead, the 39YO is choosing to laugh at it as if it were a joke. So, guess we’ll never know the reality of the facts until the NBA giant chooses to speak up.
