LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers suffered yet another crushing defeat today. King James broke several records in the game and moved past Jason Kidd to fifth in all-time career triple-doubles. Despite Bron’s 108th triple-double, the Lakers paled in comparison to the joint effort of Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox.

However, it was an important day for LBJ as he returned to court after an injury. More recently, King James took to social media to name his latest Nike Kicks and they are peppy, to say the least.

While LeBron was effective on the hardwood, his team’s performance, and Anthony Davis’ in particular proved to let him down. The Sacramento Kings pulled off a major upset, defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 110-125. Despite LeBron James leading with an impressive triple-double, surpassing Jason Kidd for the fifth-most all-time, and becoming the oldest player on the list by outdoing Tim Duncan and Karl Malone, the Kings defied predictions.

In contrast to their previous overtime matchup, the Lakers, with the entire fourth quarter at their disposal, failed to close the score gap. Anthony Davis, contributing only 9 points on 3-of-9 shooting and nine rebounds, faced disappointment, with half of those points coming in the first half. While LeBron James earns well-deserved praise for his record-breaking performance, fans express frustration with Anthony Davis, claiming his injury hinders James, and sympathy for his injury appears to be diminishing.

In the end, Skip Bayles also trashed LBJ and the Lakers for the loss.

Skip Bayless trashes the Lakers

Skip Bayless, in his typical fashion, praised De’Aaron Fox for his outstanding performance but simultaneously took shots at the struggling Lakers. Claiming, “De’Aaron Fox owns the Lakers,” Bayless delivered a bold jab at the franchise’s reputation.

Despite the Lakers facing a daunting 26-point deficit against the Kings, Bayless’s words didn’t provide encouragement for the struggling team. In the California encounter, Bayless expressed his views on the Lakers, and Fox lived up to the veteran analyst’s claim by causing an upset for the Lakers.
