Tonight’s matchup of the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets is going to be of epic proportions. Not only are two dominant teams with equally dominant leaders clashing, but the “King” is set to break the 40,000 milestone tonight! The Nuggets are coming off a 5-game winning streak, while the Lakers have five straight victories at home.
Yet, all of these take a back seat as LeBron James is seen in full “Father” mode ahead of the tip-off. In the below clip posted by the NBA’s official X handle, Bron is watching his son’s USC Trojans vs Washington Huskies game while working out. He can also be seen wearing the USC version of his LeBron XXI shoes to showcase his support for his son, Bronny James.

Bron’s love for his family is nothing new. His motto is, “Family over everything”. And it was on full display when the James family had to go through the harrowing ordeal of Bronny being hospitalized. Of course, his firstborn is healthy now and following in his father’s footsteps. But at the time, James had hinted at retirement to focus on his family, much to the horror of Lakers and LeBron James fans. There is no official confirmation about it, and obviously, he is still playing at the most elite levels. But we have to factor in the fact that the “L Train” has been very vocal about his wish to play with his son. And which, in turn, has basketball pundits and social media scrutinizing and analyzing the father-son duo’s every move.
LeBron James stands tall in the NBA
There is no doubt that LeBron James is a name that is synonymous with success. From his humble beginnings to joning the billionaire club, the ‘kid from Akron’ has surely come a long way. Entering the NBA, a young Bron already had the heavy responsibility to prove that he was indeed the ‘Chosen One’. His one-of-a-kind record came after James broke Kareem-Abdul Jabbar’s scoring record. And the man in question had held that place for nearly four decades. From then, it was rapid escalation. LeBron had atleast one record-reaching moment every other game to the point where he was creating new records.
