As most fans were starting to lose hope, Adam Silver and Co. came up with an unprecedented idea of a ?Bubble? that would host the remainder of the 2019-20 season. That season marked the 17th Championship win for the Los Angeles Lakers, tying them with rivals Boston Celtics for Most Championships in NBA history.

It has been exactly three years since King James led the Los Angeles Lakers to their 17th NBA Championship in the Bubble. On the 3-year anniversary of his historic win, LeBron reminisced about his time in the Bubble and how he helped the Lakers equal the Boston Celtics Championship record. ?WHAT A TIME!!!!!? With a 52-19 record, LeBron James and Co. finished first in the Western Conference in the shortened 2020 season. LeBron James got a chance to shine in the playoffs as he was well-rested and had only one goal in mind. The 19-time All-star put up a historic performance in the Bubble, averaging nearly a triple-double throughout the postseason. LeBron continued his elite performance in the NBA Finals against his former team, the Miami Heat. He averaged 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists in the six games, taking home his 4th Finals MVP trophy.

LeBron?s co-star Anthony Davis also played the best basketball of his career in the Bubble. He was fully healthy in the playoffs and helped King James win his 4th Championship. The Brow averaged 25 points and 10.7 rebounds in the NBA Finals.
