It all started in the early 2010s. LeBron James was laser-focused on chasing his first ring, but making himself a brand was high on the list of priorities. So when the hunt for the championship finally saw its first success in 2012, the King turned his attention to the starry lights of Hollywood. By then, The Akron Hammer had a whole catalog of Hollywood A-listers he got close to, but none came close to the bond he had with Kevin Hart. And after a decade of friendship, they’ve seen each other grow in their careers, see their families budding and kids growing up. So, with Hart giving another shot to his alternate career, what do you expect LeBron James to do?

A video has been making the rounds on the internet where Kevin Hart can be seen remaking his Droppa mixtape from nine years ago, but with a twist. Naturally, it had to be a comedic version, filled with Hart’s signature humor. The performance was the perfect way to celebrate April Fools’ Day, bringing laughter and fun to his fans and his friend too. And, the Lakers’ number 23 had extended support by showing some love in his own way.

When LeBron James saw the video, he couldn’t help but share it with his Instagram followers, captioning it with a six-word message for Hart: “MAN, WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!” along with a string of laughing emojis, in classic LeBron style. That’s exactly what the Hart’s video was meant for — light-hearted humor. If you are not among those who have seen it, it is time to dig and discover!

In a recent video on X, when Hart was asked about the ESPN analyst, he responded, “I wish y’all was similar too,” with a humorous tone that had everyone around him laughing. “Steven A.’s job, he’s a journalist. He’s an entertainer. His job is to give opinions and create conversation,” he added. I don’t agree with the latest stance. I don’t think that he’s always going to be right. And I think that now what you’re seeing in the carry-out is entertainment.”

Hart acknowledged Stephen A.’s role as both a journalist and entertainer. But he disagreed with his latest stance against LeBron. He feels that not everything SAS says is right and that the current situation is more about entertainment than serious analysis. Sure, Stephen A. was doing his job, but some believe he crossed the line and got too personal with LeBron James. Others felt that LeBron’s confrontation was a bit too much. Well, this could very well become a never-ending debate for the rest of the year.
