Who is LeBron James’ favorite child? While a parent would usually say they love all their children in the same way, King James does have a favorite child. We as fans often get a glimpse of the Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar house on the internet. Once the James tribe dropped a video that tried to mimic the head of the tribe. It’s quite simple to say, the eldest son, Bronny James, got it right. Nevertheless, others in the family also have a lot to offer. Let’s find them all in detail.

James and Savannah, the high school sweethearts from Akron, made their promises a reality in the last two decades. King James, for his share, became the first active NBA player to become a billionaire with the help of his off-court business exploits. And, currently, he has a whooping net worth of around $1.2 billion. On the other hand, Savannah James, who refrained from coming in front of the camera for all these years, she broke it with her own podcast show. It’s important to say, she waited until her kids widened their wings.

Anyway, it’s no secret anymore. LeBron James has three kids, two elder sons and a daughter. While we made it clear that the Akron Hammer’s legacy was already secured, looking at the future ahead, the superstar may have it further solidified. Now, we’ll look into each offspring and how can they contribute to James’ legacy.

Bronny James (19)

If not ‘most’, Bronny James is one of the most popular in the James family in recent times. LeBron ‘Bronny’ James Jr. was born on October 6, 2004, a year after his father made his NBA debut. Since then, fans have witnessed him once in a while through viral videos and snippets whenever Bron brought him in front of the camera.

However, James Jr. attained his pinnacle of popularity when his father made a surprising statement. King James said, “My last year will be played with my son. Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year,” in a 2022 interview. Since then, fans and media have gone all over him, covering his every single move in high school and college.

While Bronny put up a decent show in the high school for Sierra Canyon School, he had a massive hurdle in college. After shocking the sports world with a cardiac arrest, the youth had less time to prepare for his freshman year. And it showed on the floor, as he averaged 4.8 points in 25 games. However, he declared for the draft and the Lakers selected him as the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Importantly, the time is already here when the NBA will witness a father-son on the floor for the first time in the upcoming season.

Bryce James (17)

The second son of LeBron James, Bryce Maximus James, was born on June 14, 2007. Notably, it was around the time when his dad made it to his first NBA Finals with the Cleveland Cavaliers. It’s safe to say, Bryce came into the superstar’s life during his good times. Much to his luck, the younger son had Bronny’s footpaths to follow. Bronny faced the media and fans’ criticisms without any heads up and went through a lot of scrutiny.

Now that he is playing for Sierra Canyon School, Bryce has already received offers from top colleges, including Duquesne University. Nevertheless, the important question is, will his father stay in the league until Bryce makes it to the league? Speaking of it, the superstar made a skeptical statement, saying, “I feel like I could play for quite a while. So it’s all up to my body, but more importantly, my mind… If my mind can stay sharp and fresh and motivated, then the sky’s not even a limit for me. I can go beyond that. But we shall see.”

More importantly, standing taller than his elder brother at 6 ‘6, Bryce James can truly be an impactful successor to LeBron James. Moreover, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst considered Bryce more “naturally talented” than Bronny. So in time, we might see an explosion in the coming years, especially after he gains a few more inches.

Zhuri Nova James, 9

The youngest and the last member of the James family, Zhuri Nova James, was on October 22, 2014, a year after her parents got married. Now that we have come down to the last member of the family, it’s evident that Zhuri is James’ favorite kid. Speaking of her, the superstar once said, “My daughter is the greatest thing in my life, along with my boys. So, whenever she smiles, it don’t matter what I’m doing, it makes me happy.”

It’s not clear whether Zhuri will take her father’s route and turn into a baller. It’s too early to expect the family to reveal it as well. But, it’s safe to say that the youngest member is a creative one. At a young age, she started a YouTube channel, “All Things Zhuri” with which she covers a variety of topics ranging from “cuteness, recipes, DIY, family adventures, pranks, tutorials, and more.”

Not to forget, Zhuri’s first important moment in front of the camera. It was during the 2016 NBA Finals when LeBron James produced a magical 3-1 comeback against the Golden State Warriors. Following the victory, James held 1-year-old Zhuri in his arms at the press conference where she stole the limelight with a perma-grin on her face.

With two ballers already in the lineup, LeBron James has his legacy secured for at least the next two decades. Do you think Bronny and Bryce will go to create a similar magic that their dad did in the NBA? Let us know in the comments.
