LeBron James and Co. did not have great experience in this year’s postseason. However, the LA Lakers superstar has had a moment of elation in his personal domain. King James’ son younger son, Bryce James, often catches headlines amid his brother’s NBA draft news. The last time he got attention was when LeBron attended his Nike EYBL game along with his wife, Savanah James. However, the moment is different this time, as ‘Bryce Maximus’ has officially become 17 years old.

The first celebratory thing that LeBron James did was to post a story for his son, resharing a post from Slam High School with the message, “A YOUNG 🫅🏽BDAY!!!!” However, that was not it for the 39-year-old as he put up a birthday post for Bryce, captioning, “SCREAMING 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️ HAPPY BDAY TO MY TWIN BRYCE MAXIMUS @_justbryce 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑. LOVE YOU YOUNG 🤴🏾🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎.” Apparently, LeBron had shown his admiration on many occasions for Bryce’s games at the high school level.

Even during the late fall of 2023, LeBron praised his son’s performance against the Centennial. The Lakers superstar posted an Instagram story with the caption, “Bryce James jumper is looking smooth.” Bryce’s three-pointers were on-point in that game. He is also known for his jumping power, as he shoots continuous threes with impeccable accuracy. That’s why the young son of LeBron James is called the “Sniper,” who targets the hoops.

Why did LeBron James call Bryce his “twin”?

Well, when we look at the skill sets and talent, Bryce James is much better suited to LeBron James. The 6’6″ footer has got a height advantage though it is less than LeBron’s 6’9″ length on the height scale. His exceptional basketball IQ and scoring ability are what he resembles the most with King James. Even his work ethic is no less than his father’s at the high school basketball. Moreover, Bryce has also got some ball-handling skills.

He has emerged as someone whom the team can rely on as he balances the scoreline with his three-pointers. The upper hand that Bryce has got is his ability to improve himself beyond the domain of years. His game is definitely higher than that of the other players his age. That’s something called raw potential, which LeBron withheld from an early age. Apparently, Bryce checks in with his father in that league.

Overall, Bryce has some fine qualities that lie parallel to his father’s habits. No wonder LeBron called the young gun his “twin” on the special occasion of his son’s birthday. However, the 17-year-old is still improving. So, making any judgment might be too soon to declare. What are your thoughts about him? Do mention them in the comments.
