The NBA’s schedule is grueling. An 82-game season demands the players to give their best in all the games they play. But, realistically speaking it’s not always possible. But what do with the fans’ expectations? They hate to see their favorites lose. So, despite the exhaustion, players need to find ways to keep themselves going. And it looks like LeBron James has just shared the Lakers’ secret sauce. What?!

To begin with, the Lakers superstar LeBron James hasn’t been in his best form this season. However, at the age of nearly 40, the 4x NBA champ has done everything in his control to push the team to win. But, the Purple and Gold have had too many roadblocks this time. After losing to the OKC Thunder in Friday’s game, followed by elimination from the NBA Cup, Bron & Co. need to recharge themselves.

JJ Redick and the Lakers were in LA for 36 hours and soon they’ll be out for the second road trip of the 2024/25 season. Therefore, LeBron’s appeal is simple, “lean on each other.” Because the journey ahead is going to be a tough one. So, how does the team find energy? How do the players go on and on and on?

“You got to figure it out, lean on each other. If you don’t have it, you don’t have the energy,” LeBron James expressed. “Lean on the guy next to you. You know it’s going to be a tough road trip for us starting in Utah, back-in-back Minnesota, and then Atlanta. Last game of the trip, so we got to be ready to go.”

Bron shared the secret to the Lakers’ energy standing in the locker room after meeting the Thunder in the Crypto.com Arena. With just 12 points in his tally, the 20x All-Star surely looked disappointed. Meanwhile, another road trip is aligned for the Laker starting from Dec 1 onwards.

The reigning champions of the NBA Cup, the Los Angeles Lakers have been eliminated from the In-Season tournament. Right before a home crowd of 18997 at the Crypto.com Arena, LeBron James and Co. fell prey to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Oklahoma City Thunder. A disheartening 101-93 loss of the Purple and Gold side and a lot to learn ahead of their 4-game road trip starting on Sunday.

What’s your perspective on:

Can LeBron James still carry the Lakers, or is it time for the team to step up?

Have an interesting take?

LA surely wanted to keep the crown to themselves, but the Thunder didn’t let it happen. Simply put, the second season of the NBA Cup will have a champion and it won’t be the Lakers. Meanwhile, LeBron couldn’t do his usual task of scoring like a pro and was limited to 12 points. It was only the rookie Dalton Knecht who got 20 in his tally, and the rest of the Lakers just went downhill.

As LeBron said, the players must lean on each other. They need to find energy for the games ahead. The Utah Jazz are first on Sunday. After that, it’s the Timberwolves, Heat, and Hawks. The Lakers must stay focused. They need to keep up the effort.
