“I’m gonna play until I’m 40. Then, after 40, I’m gonna go all left-hand until I’m 45.” Yet, age seems to be just a number for LeBron James.  His performances on the court continue to shatter expectations, showcasing unparalleled skills and athleticism at this point in his career. Recently, as King James marked his 39th birthday, he didn’t just blow out candles; he hosted a spectacular Studio 84-themed party, proving that his off-court style is as remarkable as his on-court prowess.

Taking to his Instagram handle, LeBron James posted a video of his star-studded birthday bash and captioned it, “And when I say a MOVIE, I MEAN A GOT DAMN BOX OFFICE SMASH!! LET’S GO!!” Among the celebs who graced the party were his Lakers’ teammates like Anthony Davis, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Los Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue. A-list celebrities like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Don Cheadle, and Kevin Hart were also spotted in the video. Troubled Warriors’ star Draymond Green was also seen enjoying the party along with singer Adele, who is dating James’ friend, Rich Paul.

But, of course, the center of attraction within the party was LeBron and Savannah. The couple could be seen having a great time on the dance floor, where he wore an afro wig, sunglasses, and several pieces of jewelry to complete the look, and busted out his best retro dance moves.

The party venue was made to look like the famous Studio 54 theater in New York, except it was changed to Studio 84 in honor of the year James was born.

LeBron’s investment in Lobos 1707

The tequila brand was founded in 2018 and launched its first products in 2020. LeBron, along with Diego Osorio and Dia Simms, are the founders of the brand. The brand offers four products that range in price from $45 to $150 per bottle. CEO Simms describes their product as, “A premium brand, and our distinctive aging process meets the need of an accelerating category.”

Lobos 1707 represents LeBron’s strategic move into the spirits industry, aligning with his diverse business portfolio beyond the basketball court. Apart from LeBron, Anthony Davis and Draymond Green have also invested in the brand. However, Lobos 1707 faces competition from Cincoro tequila. The brand is owned by Michael Jordan and has investors such as Jeanie Buss (Lakers owner), Wes Eden (Bucks owner), and Wyc Grousbeck (Celtics owner).
