When a man of Bron’s stature shares a moment with a baseball sensation, he unites the fans of two different sporting worlds. However, his baseball endeavors did not stop there. Just days after his heartwarming moment with the MLB star, The King showed love for a 53-year-old Seattle Mariners legend.

Seattle Mariners legend Ken Griffey Jr. did the unthinkable 25 years ago. While taking on the Detroit Tigers in 1998, Griffey Jr. took an unbelievable leap to make a catch. In a spectacular display of athleticism, The Mariners outfielder scaled the wall at Tiger Stadium, which served as the Tigers’ home ground before the Comerica Park.

LeBron James graced the Dodgers stadium to witness the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Miami Marlins. He turned up to the game with the James Gang while dressed in Dodgers gear to support the home team. Sure enough, his presence was felt at the stadium where the fans were electrified looking at The King. However, the fans were not the only ones thrilled.

Dodgers’ $365M worth star, Mookie Betts had one of his best outings this season, smashing two home runs in the game. He made James’ first ever Dodgers game attendance since joining the Lakers much more memorable. Then came a heartwarming gesture from Betts, as he saluted The King upon crossing the home plate. James too, returned the favour, tipping his hat to the 30-year-old.
