LeBron James might have sustained a leg injury, but that still hasn’t done anything to his determination. His determination to take the lead in getting his team over the edge. And this has got the Lakers fans sympathizing with the Lakers legend. Despite the subpar performances, the rest of the team is showcasing.

X (formerly Twitter) is blowing up with praises, comfort words, and indignity at others who are trying to downplay LeBron’s role in the Lakers team. Let’s take a look at a few of them.

In response to the Lakers Nation’s post, “LeBron is a cyborg. Yet another drive to the basket and score,” many fans have come forward to sympathize with his current situation in the Lakers team.

Another user is giving it straight to the Lakers on how they need James to babysit the whole team.

Yet another makes a painful suggestion seeing all the efforts LeBron puts in for his team.

Another user calls out the team for the whole ridiculousness of it all.

Finally, a user is convinced that the Lakers don’t deserve him.

Post-game, LeBron was quite proud of Reddish’s achievement and did not mince words. At all. Then again, this is a policy he has followed for a long time. Game 5 of the 2020 NBA Finals saw him pass a wide-open to Danny Green, who missed it. Another notable moment is when the Lakers faced the Suns in the 2021 first-round matchup.

Caldwell-Pope decided to pass an open three. James immediately moved to his side and told him to take the next shot. It is one of his less-liked features by fans. Not through any fault of their own, of course. But that’s just who LeBron is. And he is not going to change it anytime soon.
