It hasn’t been long since Nike opted out of signing Jalen Brunson. The New York star had all the talent and resume to become a Nike athlete. Instead, the 27-year-old was offered an exclusive design on the existing signature shoe line of his choice. Now, Brunson has been more than humble this offseason. Quite recently, after signing a $156 million deal with the Knicks, Brunson sacrificed an additional $113 million had he waited 12 more months. While Nike missed out on a future superstar, they recently surprised fans with LeBron James‘ new signature collection.
After 21 editions of LeBrons, the King is now set to feature on his very own signature training shoes. The Nike LeBron TR1 will be released this fall with the price range expected to be around $130. But it doesn’t end there. The training shoes will feature the iconic Air Mx 95-like ‘Smoke-Grey’ colorway and a few more. This is a double delight for LeBron fans, as the 22nd edition of his signature shoes also rumored to release by the end of this year.

For Jalen Brunson’s supporters, this does leave somewhat of a bad impression. Nike could’ve added another star alongside the newcomers, Anthony Edwards, Ja Morant, and others. Regardless, it will be interesting to see LeBron James’ new signature collection that he already teased during the Paris Olympics. Moreover, Nike has upped their game when it comes to designing kicks for the next generation.
Looking at LeBron’s new training shoes, the colorway paired with the unique design gives a futuristic feel to it. And of course, the comfort and performance are no joke when it comes to LeBrons. However, will James’ training shoes catch any traction among sneakerheads around the world?
LeBron James’s new collection could sell out quickly
When it comes to training shoes, the Air Max has been a household name for Nike fans. But then again, these new training shoes will not be as common as others. The TR1 features extra firmness as seen from its midsole. Additionally, they might be suitable for basketball, as LeBron was first seen wearing them during a Team USA warm-up routine in Paris. The dual performance of this shoe will be something to look out for, which is one of the reasons why these kicks are bound to get attention.
