However, the 2023 Hall of Fame inductee, Dwyane Wade is no less. “The Flash” has woven himself into the thread of NBA lore in his glorious career. His speed and athleticism have made the 3-time champion a truly unique talent. However, when the fans compared him to Harden and Pierce, former rival of Wade, Kendick Perkins turned into an ally.

Perkins showed his love for Wade on ESPN’s NBA Today, urging fans to leave the former Finals MVP out of the comparisons. “Can a lot of these people leave D-Wade alone? D-Wade doesn’t bother anybody,” said the former NBA champion.

He added “I’ve been seeing all these conversations about you know, Dwyane Wade and Paul Pierce, who would you take, Dwyane Wade or James Harden, can we let Dwyane Wade just have his moment? He’s inducted into the Hall of Fame. Dwyane Wade is a guy that always give people their flowers….let that man live in peace.

James Harden and Paul Pierce have established themselves as two of the most incredible scorers in the NBA. Given Harden and Pierce’s phenomenal resumes, it is difficult to match their greatness for any player. However, Dwyane Wade has made a strong case for himself to arguably be considered better than the two legends.
