As for Wiggins, he’s on day-to-day after sustaining a left hip soreness. This means he could also play if cleared by the Warriors medical staff. That said, Golden State does have other injuries. Jonathan Kuminga is the most notable absence due to a left calf strain. Lastly, Moses Moody is also listed as doubtful for the matchup due to a back issue.
On the flip side, things are relatively bad for the Jazz. They could have to line up without superstar Lauri Markkanen. He’s questionable after suffering a lower back injury. That’s a massive blow for the Jazz. However, they have much more to worry about because Collin Sexton is ruled out with a left ankle sprain. Additionally, Cody Williams and Taylor Hendricks are also out of the matchup. So, it’s clear that both teams will have some changes to their starting five. So, let’s see how they can line up.
Warriors and Jazz’s predicted starting five for tonight’s showdown
Injuries have affected both sides so, there will be several changes in tonight’s game. To sum it up, the Warriors are heading into this game as clear favorites. That’s because of two main factors. First, the Jazz have only one win in their last ten games, suggesting they aren’t a competitive team. Next, is their injury woes. They’ll be without Collin Sexton who’s one of their most prominent players this season. That said, Golden State should be able to complete a season sweep over Utah as the ball hits the air tonight.
