Forget the final score, because the real knockout punch at the Nuggets-Lakers game wasn’t on the court—it was a full-blown, no-holds-barred brawl in the stands. We’re talking fists flying, a woman dragged like a rag doll, and security? Nowhere to be found. This wasn’t just a heated exchange; it was a scene straight out of a chaotic street fight, caught on camera and now exploding across the internet. And it’s just the latest chapter in Ball Arena’s disturbing history of fan violence.
Denver Nuggets won 131-126 over Los Angeles Lakers. The real action started when trash talk turned into a full-on brawl between Lakers and Nuggets fans, fists flying, chaos. But the craziest part? Security nowhere to be found, a woman was dragged across the floor like a human mop.
Yeah, all of it was caught on camera.

The footage is unreal. It’s absolute mayhem once a Nuggets fan throws a nasty punch at a Lakers fan. A woman tries to grab the Nuggets fan’s legs, bad idea (in the middle of all this). The fight rages around her and she is dragged across the floor.
Where was security when all this happened? Good question. They sure weren’t breaking it up, were they? This wasn’t a short fight that got resolved quickly; this went too long and the fans are angry. Ball Arena were just completely absent, people were reacting on social media and calling them out for effectively vanishing when it got ugly.
Leave it to @Lakers fans to come into your arena and start throwing fists after the game. But the @nuggets fan got a quite a shot in at the very beginning. @WorldWideWob pic.twitter.com/o0GGE6lEuA

“Leave it to Lakers fans to come into your arena and start throwing fists after the game. But the Nuggets fan got quite a shot in at the very beginning.” And just like that, the internet battle was on. Lakers and Nuggets fans have been going at it in the comments, each side blaming the other. Well, if this whole thing feels a little too familiar, it’s because Ball Arena has a severe history of wild fan fights.
Remember the infamous “Suns in 4” beatdown that went down right here in 2021? Two Nuggets fans took a beating at the hands of a Phoenix Suns fan, who predicted a sweep and became a viral legend along the way.
What’s your perspective on:
Ball Arena or Fight Club? Why does fan violence keep erupting without any security intervention?
Have an interesting take?
Things only went darker in 2023. A female Nuggets fan sued the arena, claiming she was assaulted in a restroom during a playoff game against the Lakers. A major part of her case? Security did nothing.
In 2024, it was then Nikola Jokic’s own brother, Strahinja Jokic, who allegedly punched a Lakers fan after a buzzer beater loss. The NBA stepped in and even resulted in a misdemeanor assault charge.
Yet here we are in the year 2025, another year, another insane fight at Ball Arena.
Lakers fans and their own history of chaos
However, let’s not act like Lakers fans are new to this. Some of the craziest incidents in NBA history have seen them at the center.
Remember 2009? Instead of just celebrating the Lakers won the NBA Championship, Los Angeles became an absolute riot zone with fans. It was just madness entirely—throwing things at police, vandalized and so on. A Lakers fan truly got involved in it in 2013 outside a nightclub with James Harden. Harden was spotted punching the guy who yelled, “Kobe owns your [expletive]” at him. That one was settled and ended up in a lawsuit.

A random Summer League game between the Lakers and Hornets ended as a full on brawl in the stands even in 2022. NBA Summer League President Albert Hall had to step in himself, it was so bad.

And now, in 2025, here we go again. Another wild fight, another moment of Lakers fans making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The NBA loves to talk about its strict fan conduct policies—banning hecklers, ejecting troublemakers—but when massive fights break out? Their response is embarrassingly slow.

How did this brawl last as long as it did with zero security intervention? Why did a woman just get dragged across the floor while everyone watched? And if Ball Arena has had this many violent altercations, why hasn’t anything changed?
Arenas are supposed to be safe for fans, but at this point, Ball Arena is starting to feel more like a fight club. The NBA still hasn’t said a word about the incident, but with the video going viral, they can’t ignore it forever. So the real question is—will security finally step up? Or are we just waiting for the next wild fan fight in Denver?
