A new NBA season is upon us. And fans are excited to find out what the Lakers have planned for this year. Well, they made no changes to the roster the entire summer apart from adding rookies Bronny James and Dalton Knecht. So naturally, there are a lot of burning questions on everyone’s mind regarding JJ Redick and Co.’s aspirations. Don’t worry. All queries are likely to be answered soon enough, that too more than once, as the schedule is out for the Lakers’ Annual Media Day.
But before that, Rob Pelinka and JJ Redick are set to host a press conference of their own on Wednesday, September 25. Scheduled at 1 p.m. Pacific time, they will address the media at the UCLA Health Training Center.
Sure enough, this will be the team’s General Manager and new Head Coach’s first conference since they introduced their highly talked about rookies in early July. And if you are interested in knowing what they have to say, you can tune into the Lakers’ YouTube channel or Spectrum SportsNet, as both will be streaming the conference live.

Moreover, with the departure of veterans like Taurean Prince and Spencer Dinwiddie, and several failed pursuits of luring a big-name free agent to LA, Rob Pelinka and JJ Redick are expected to be bombarded with a lot of hard-hitting questions tomorrow.
Then, once Wednesday’s press conference comes to a close, the Lakers will hold Media Day, five days later, on September 30. It will also be conducted at the same venue at 2 p.m. ET. Sure enough, Lakers Nation will be looking forward to hearing from their biggest stars, including LeBron James and Anthony Davis as they prepare for training camp. Then, it’s time to get to work!
JJ Redick’s Lakers Training Camp and Preseason Schedule
After addressing the media twice, the Lakers will begin their training camp on the first day of October, which will go on for 3 days. Surely, the camp will help rookie coach JJ Redick get a feel of the rotation he wants to use next season.
He recently revealed on The Lowe Post podcast that he is likely to go with the team’s most-used lineup of last season, “Yeah. It will be the starting 5 that went 23-10 last year,” which includes Austin Reaves, D’Angelo Russell, LeBron James, Rui Hachimura, and AD.
