There is no debating that LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the two biggest stars on the LA Lakers roster. The fact that the duo carries the Lakers is also not up for debate. This is why anytime one or both of them are injured, Lakers fans immediately enter panic mode. So will the duo play in the Lakers’ next game against the Brooklyn Nets?
The Lakers have listed both LeBron James and Anthony Davis as PROBABLE ahead of the East vs West showdown against the Nets. LeBron was listed as the same for the Lakers’ last game against his former team, the Miami Heat. The reason given was the management of an injury to his left foot.
But that didn’t stop the ‘King’ from registering 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists in that game.

Though he played with the injury against Miami as well, also dropping 22 points in 37 minutes. He also had 11 rebounds and 4 assists to go with his 22 points. So the Lakers can probably count on him for the Nets game as well. But what about the rest of the squad?
Lakers Injury Report – who will be backing up LeBron James and Anthony Davis against the Nets?

The same cannot be said for new Lakers signee Dorian Finney-Smith. Dorian, or DoeDoe, is listed as DOUBTFUL ahead of the Nets game owing to personal reasons.
Moreover, shooting Jalen Hood-Schifino is OUT of the squad for the Nets game. He has been out of the squad since December 1 with a hamstring injury. There is no timeline for his return as of now. Additionally, the duo of Jarred Vanderbilt and Christian Wood are also OUT of the squad for Friday’s game.
Jarred Vanderbilt had surgery on his right foot which has ruled him out of playing against the Nets. Although Lakers head coach JJ Reddick remained hopeful of the center’s return by the coming week. On the other, Christian Wood, who has not played a single game for the Lakers, will also miss the Nets game as he recovers from surgery on his left knee. His extended absence will carry on for a while, it seems.
