The Los Angeles Lakers won five games in their home at a stretch. Darvin Ham’s boys displayed a delightful performance, due to which they earned a convincing victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. The final score stood at 134-107 in favor of the Lakers. LeBron James, who is playing in his 21st season, certainly played a part in the win.

Needless to say, the 38-year-old Bron is still one of the best players out there. However, with increasing age, it may get difficult for him to keep up with the pace of the league. Coach Ham had previously announced the rotational theory that their team would be implementing this season. King James missed out on the Lakers’ winning game versus the Trail Blazers. He played last night against the Grizzlies though, but only for 23 minutes. Will he be in the squad tonight in a back-to-back match, this time against the Sacramento Kings?

Although there is yet no official news from the Lakers’ end, it is safe to believe that they won’t risk playing the legend when he’s half fit. The King missed the Trail Blazers match due to a calf contusion. He has been an important part of the team when players like Anthony Davis, Rui Hachimura, etc. were ruled out due to injuries.

The 19-time All-Star took the responsibility on his shoulders and carried the team throughout this season. He is averaging 24.3 points in this season, coupled with 8.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists.

Though he only played for 23 minutes, Bron scored 16 points, with 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Rui Hachimura and D’Angelo Russell were the leading scorers for the Lakers. They scored 23 and 24 points, respectively. Some fans even criticized Ham for bringing out the rotational theory at first. But it seems that it will bear fruits for the Lakers in the long run.

Lakers eyeing their 19th NBA title?

The Lakers, if they want to clinch the NBA this season, have to ensure that their players remain fit throughout. Injuries really are a concern for them. AD is injury-prone and missed out on a lot of matches last season. Being a crucial player, he needs to remain healthy. They cannot depend too much on LeBron, who is in the limelight of his career.
