Following the win over the Toronto Raptors tonight, Bron and AD looked doubtful about playing tomorrow. The Los Angeles Lakers added the superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis to the Questionable category ahead of tonight’s game. Despite that, the duo laced up their sneakers and churned in 30 minutes each tonight. As the LA side takes on the court again tomorrow, the recent report suggested that the superstars are doubtful to play.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin shared coach Darvin Ham’s words on their participation, via his X handle. Ham said, “In all likelihood, I’m sure they’ll play.”

While Ham showed positive signs of the superstars’ participation, King James dropped a concerning statement. Mike Trudell, an NBA beat, shared James’ take on playing tomorrow. The 4x Champ revealed that playing fewer minutes tonight would help him. At the same time, he also wanted to know how he feels tomorrow morning to determine his playing status.

Last night, the Lakers listed LeBron James under Questionables with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy and Anthony Davis with left knee hyperextension. James has been benched a few times this season for the same reason and he has been dealing with his left ankle issue for quite some time now.

On the other hand, AD picked up the hyperextension issue right before the Raptors game. Nevertheless, the duo took part in tonight’s games, playing 30 minutes and dropping 44 points together. Just a few days ago, James stunned the NBA world by dropping 40 points against the Nets in 37 minutes, which also included 9 three-pointers. Following that performance, he became the second player to have two 40+ points games at the age of 39, after Michael Jordan.

The superstar definitely would need a break after the 37-minute hustle. However, he managed to turn up tonight.
