But, a few hours ago, The Athletic‘s Javan Buha reported that the Lakers front office has stalled the trade talk after a few hurdles in the negotiation. While the Lakers dwelled in sadness over the missed opportunity to rope in Murray, he stunned the NBA world with a back-to-back miracle.

As the season approaches the trade deadline, the rumors and trade reports surrounding the red-hot players have already taken over the hoops community. In that vein, Hawks star Dejounte Murray is the latest star, whose stakes have increased multi-fold with his consecutive miracles on the court.

On Thursday, Dejounte Murray had the opportunity to score the game-winning bucket against the Orlando Magic. He drove the ball in with the score tied at 104 and dropped a 17-foot jump shot on the buzzer.

Moreover, he didn’t stop there, as he received a similar opportunity tonight as well. He pulled off another game-winner against the mighty Miami Heat. Trailing by 2 points, Murray drove the ball in with 7 seconds on the clock and buried a three-pointer on the buzzer to take home the win.

Following the bucket, the Lakers fans were all over the comments, reminding the LA front office of the 27-year-old.
