After claiming to be ‘under the weather’ after the Los Angeles Lakers‘ win against the Houston Rockets, LeBron James made an appearance on the injury report. He was listed as ‘questionable’ due to a left calf contusion. However, the Akron Hammer still decided to suit up to help the team advance to the quarterfinals of the in-season tournament with an unblemished 4-0 record. Not only did James help the team secure a third consecutive win, but he also reached a crucial milestone in his career. After surpassing the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s tally of 38,387 points in February to become the leading scorer of all time, James has now become the first player to score 39,000 points in the NBA.

Although James has been playing at an elite level, in the end, we cannot ignore the fact that he is at the tail end of his illustrious career. Therefore, at 38, his health is of utmost importance for the team’s success. So, will he take the court for the Lakers’ back-to-back game against the Dallas Mavericks tonight?

The Lakers are slated to face off against the Dallas Mavericks at the Crypto.com Arena tonight. The Mavericks are on a two-game skid after the Sacramento Kings crushed them in a 129-113 loss on Sunday. However, one slight advantage is that they will be rested before they take on the Lakers, who, on the other hand, will be playing the second leg of a back-to-back tonight. Fortunately for the Lakers, James will once more grace the court, aiming to guide the team toward another victory.

The Lakers’ injury report includes three players. The newest addition to the injury report is their starting wing Cam Reddish, who is dealing with groin soreness. He joins Jarred Vanderbilt on the list, who is yet to make his season debut after enduring a left heel bursitis. The Lakers will also be without Gabe Vincent, who is out due to a knee injury.
