He mentioned that in games where he scored 40 points, the Bulls’ defense managed to limit him to just 20 points in a subsequent game. Thomas attributed his struggles to the strong efforts of Caruso, Williams, and the rest of the Bulls’ team.?

He says, “I feel like the Bulls. The Bulls play good defense on me when I when I had the 40-point games and then we had that fourth game; and I only had 20 because I was struggling a little bit. I feel like they played good defense on me that game. Pat Williams, Caruso, all those guys played, played pretty soft even on me that game”.
