These are turbulent times in the NBA world. The talks surrounding the blockbuster Luka-AD haven’t settled down. Following fans, several stars like Anthony Edwards called for an investigation into the absurd nature of the trade. Yes, who sends out a 25-year-old generational talent who is yet to reach his prime? Amid this frenzy, there’s a new twist, as Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant fall under the trade tampering speculation.

It’s almost impossible to even think that Kai would want Luka Doncic out. The Slovenian literally helped the 32-year-old reach NBA Finals last season after his Cavs glory in 2016. However, the reporters have their ways of picking the right thread. After tonight’s loss against the Sixers, Irving had the reporters surround. It was his first press interaction since the blockbuster trade, as he didn’t lace up for the Cavs’ game.

While the reporters tried to get Kyrie Irving‘s reaction to the trade, a reporter asked a burning question, highlighting that he had once wished to trade Anthony Davis to Boston in 2018. Notably, Uncle Drew represented the C’s between 2017 and 2019. The moment the star heard it, he wanted to send out an important message, “That has no foreshadowing either on anything. I just let you know right now. We were discussing in 2018. This goes for everybody watching because I know all these words are gonna get looked.”

It ended abruptly after he and Kevin Durant decided to ditch their respective teams and join hands in Brooklyn. Before this shocking exit, Irving had plans to bring KD and Anthony Davis together. Speaking of which he added, “2018 was like a dream for Kyrie, AD, KD to be on one team and still keep JT and let him grow.” Now, Kyrie has fulfilled his dream partially but on the other side, Kevin Durant’s future seems uncertain.

Thanks to Jimmy Butler and Bradley Beal. After ending his negotiation with the Warriors, Butler seemed interested in signing a long-term extension with the Suns. The Valley side had the perfect opportunity to rope in Playoff Jimmy in exchange for Beal. As a blessing in disguise, Beal, who has the rare no-trade clause, reiterated that he would stay with the Suns.

So, the only way the Suns can afford an upgrade is by sending out a superstar. Considering the number of years left in his career, Kevin Durant is the only sensible option for the Suns. This is where the Warriors can barge in and steal Slim Reaper into the side with a three-team deal. Will KD end up with the Warriors? Let us know in the comments.
