It’s been a long offseason for Kyle Kuzma and it would’ve been unlike him to make use of it to the fullest. After attending Rajon Rondo’s wedding with girlfriend Winnie Harlow, Kuzma was seen busy indulging in all things politics. During his China trip, alongside Jimmy Butler and Paul George, the Wizards star shared a fair bit of his political views ahead of the presidential election. While that happened solely on X, his IG remained colorful with the love of his life. And Kuzma showed that again by sharing a video of Harlow, but this time she wasn’t alone.

Ever since making their relationship public, Kuzma and his superstar girlfriend have managed to be the talk of the town. Their adorable gestures of cheering for each other on social media have often melted their fans’ hearts. And this time was no different when she linked up with Shakira.

When your girlfriend gets to shake a leg rather hip with one of the biggest pop icons, it is worth flaunting on Gram and Kuzma did the same. Shakira posted a video on Instagram where the Colombian was seen dancing with Winnie, Natti Natasha, and Shannon on her new song, Soltera. Behind the lens was Venezuelan singer, Lele Pons, who garnered attention by singing a line in the last seconds of the video. The ladies appear to be having a blast on the yacht with the crew members. Blown away by the video, Kyle Kuzma shared it on the IG story with his 4.8 million fans.

After eagerly waiting for the track, Shakira fans finally got a taste of it on September 25. The term Soltera in English means single, which defines Shakira’s relationship status following a bitter split with former Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique. Hopefully, this song will not drag the Spaniard again. But keeping aside Shakira’s love life, Kuzma’s one seems to be perfectly fine. What isn’t exactly fine is his NBA life with the Wizards with winds of uncertainty blowing again.

Trade rumors surrounding Kyle Kuzma

The entire offseason, several trade rumors kept floating around Kyle Kuzma, but the Wizards haven’t paid any heed yet. Many franchises would be interested in the 2020 champion for the impact he brings on the team. Tyler Watts of the King James Gospel reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers could be a potential suitor for the 29-year-old.

Reminding the role he had played at the LA franchise, the Insider stated, “Kuzma played an off-ball role for the Lakers during their 2020 championship run. The 6’9 forward can get buckets, rebound, and defend multiple positions. He shot over 36 percent from 3-point range in 2021, and his percentage should be average or better with more catch-and-shoot opportunities. The Cavaliers need a wing to round out their roster and may struggle to find anyone better than Kyle Kuzma on the trade market.”

Considering Kuzma’s age, he has quite a few years left in his tank, and with averages of 22.2 points and 6.6 rebounds last season, he attracted a lot more sights. So, even if the Cavs don’t get the deal, other organizations will be looking forward to getting the Wizards on board. For now, Kuzma has two more years of his four-year deal with Washington, so there’s a possibility that he might continue with the team. But there’s a long way to go in the trade window, and we all love a trade shock, don’t we?
