The Warriors and Klay are far apart in their negotiation in terms of years and money. According to league executives, Klay might be looking at a 4-year $30-35 Million deal that will cost the Warriors approximately $140 Million. That could mean Klay Thompson might decide to try his luck in free agency after the end of this season to get a more satisfactory offer from other teams.

?I think for Golden State, this has a chance to become the first real test of keeping together that core of Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson,? Woj added.
