LeBron James’ NBA career is a testament to staying focused on the game of basketball and taking care of one’s body. He has been dominating the NBA for over two decades and is still playing at an elite level at age 38. King James’ performance in his 21st season has been so incredible that he has even turned his harshest critic, Skip Bayless, into an admirer.

In tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, King James dethroned Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar yet again by breaking another one of his records. Veteran analyst Skip Bayless congratulated the 4-time Champion for his accomplishment.

Skip Bayless in awe of LeBron James’ “Longevity Records”

LeBron James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA’s all-time leader in minutes played. He broke the record in the opening minutes of tonight’s game against Joel Embiid and Co. In a surprising turn of events, LeBron’s long-time critic, Skip Bayless, congratulated him on X, “Congrats to LeBron James, who just became the NBA’s all-time leader in minutes played. The man is the King of longevity records.” Skip Bayless has been criticizing LeBron James throughout his career. In the past, the Undisputed host has talked ill about LeBron’s clutch gene and has always put Michael Jordan over him.

But this season has been a bit different. There have been several occasions when Bayless has appreciated LeBron’s game on his show Undisputed. He has been impressed with the 19-time All-Star’s performance in his 21st season. Skip Bayless may be finally recognizing the greatness of King James when he is in the final stages of his career. However, Skip’s wishes for LeBron might have come with a backhanded compliment. He called LeBron the “king of longevity records” which could be interpreted as LeBron breaking all the records only because of his longevity.

We might never see a career like LeBron James’

LeBron James is one of the Greatest players in NBA history. Many even consider him the GOAT over Michael Jordan. What LeBron has been able to accomplish in his career and what he is doing in his 21st season is unprecedented. The 4-time Champion became the only player in NBA history to score 39,000 points, and he might soon surpass the 40,000-point mark this season. 5 other legends have played 21 or more seasons in the NBA, but no one performed like King James at this stage of their career.

LeBron has been the best player for the Lakers this season and led them to a winning record. The only player who has played more years than LeBron is Vince Carter, with 22 seasons, and he was mostly a bench player by the time his career ended. King James still has a few good years left, and we might see him breaking another record very soon.
