TEAM USA! The Slim Reaper still seems to be in a Paris Olympics hangover. Days after their glorious Gold quest at the Olympics, Kevin Durant dropped a picture from the trip. This isn’t just an ordinary celebrity upload, at least the comment section didn’t feel that way. Many celebrities, including LeBron James and MJ’s son Marcus, swarmed the comments section to deservedly continue the fireworks for the 4x Olympic record Gold medalist.

Kevin Durant had an impressive journey, lacing up alongside King James and Steph Curry. While KD walked into the tournament as the scoring leader of Team USA in the Olympics, he walked away with two more records! He surpassed Lisa Leslie to become All-USA Olympic basketball’s scoring leader and became the first men’s basketball player to win 4 Golds in the coveted hoops nation.

Amid this hot international streak, it’s natural for a superstar to receive overflowing praise across the country. And Kevin Durant experienced the same. The 2x NBA Champ dropped a picture of himself, decked in casual wear with a pair of shades, seemingly from his luxurious home during his national duty, and wrote, “Still thankful for the Paris experience,” tagging Airbnb in the caption.

Team USA’s leader and the Slim Reaper’s teammate, LeBron James, jumped right into hyping up duties and wrote, “SLIM aka H.I.M.” Importantly, this wasn’t just for the sake of commenting on Kevin Durant’s sharp-looking post, but the LA Lakers superstar meant it with his all heart, as he did in a recent candid conversation about the Suns veteran.

LeBron James and other celebs swarm “The GAWD’s” comments section

In a recent interview with Sam Amick of The Athletic, James speaking of Durant, said, “KD’s one of the all-time greats. It’s not even a question. I mean, you just look at his silhouette, look at his skill. He’s one of the best basketball players we’ve ever seen play the game of basketball.” In addition to James’ hype up, the superstar’s friend, Cuffs The Legend, a media person, dropped a perfect dime, writing, “National Hero,” in the comments. Of course, given the records that Kevin Durant broke, donning the US jersey, the star power forward indeed deserves the love.

LeBron and Durant in Paris—Can this duo bring back the glory days of USA Basketball?

Have an interesting take?

Notably, KD turned the hoops nations’ attention to his side in the very first game. After missing out on every single exhibition game, the Slim Reaper clocked in for the first game late in the 1st quarter, went 8 of 8 from the field in the first half, and ended the game with 23 points! Following that, he continued to perform consistently, averaging just under 14 points. Truly, a national hero.

Michael Jordan‘s son, Marcus, also pitched in to drop a compliment, calling Durant ‘GOAT’, symbolically. Jordan Jr. took to the comments and dropped 3 emojis, ‘a sparkle, a gold medal, and a goat.’ It’s indeed selfless appreciation to call someone ‘the greatest’ when their father is the Chicago Bulls legend.

Apart from that, Royce 5’9″, the American rapper also reacted to the post, writing, “The Gawd,” with a salute emoji. Moreover, the comments section was flooded with compliments and hype-ups. Notably, Chris Mathews, who is famously known as Lethal Shooter on Instagram, wrote, “The best scorer to EVER walk the planet!”
