The Phoenix Suns managed to win the game with the final score of 119-116. But that wasn’t the main headline. Instead, it was Draymond Green’s antics that landed him in trouble once again.

Though Green issued an apology, it was not enough as the league decided to suspend Green, pending counseling sessions for him to return and required criteria that he will need to meet.

During a post-game press conference, Kevin Durant was asked about his views on the play. He went on to say, That was insane to see. Glad Nurk is alright. Never seen that on the basketball court in an NBA game. I hope Draymond gets the help he needs.”

He also went on to add, “It’s been incident after incident. I know Draymond and he hasn’t been that way when I was around coming into the league. So, hopefully, he gets the help that he needs and gets back on the court and put all this stuff behind.”

After the game, Jusuf Nurkić had this to say. “What’s going on with him? I don’t know. Personally, I feel like that brother needs help. I’m glad he didn’t try to choke me. At the same time, it ain’t nothing to do with basketball.”

Other reactions from the NBA world

Draymond Green’s actions drew some reactions from other NBA entities. Given his history of unsportsmanlike conduct, many did not hold back in mocking him and calling him out.

Former NBA player Dwight Howard sent out a couple of tweets. His first tweet read, “New Windmill  gotta love Dray.”

Followed by, “Dray ain’t mean to do that.”

Veteran NBA analyst Skip Bayless had Green’s former teammate Nick Young on the show. That is when Young stated, “He’s more of a cheap shot guy, but he tends to do that to a lot of Europeans. He messing with nothing but foreigners. He had a lot of UFC in him.”

Even NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins felt that Draymond Green should be suspended for 25 games.
