Just like any other recent off-season, Kevin Durant is one of the most sought-after trade candidates. Following the Phoenix Suns’ failed experiment to overload their offense and their financial restraints, the Slim Reaper could find himself a new home. In recent weeks, the Houston Rockets have been rumored to observe his situation. However, instead of indulging in such talks, Durant is busy enjoying his friend’s replication of him on the basketball court.

Kenny Hamilton, a former bodyguard of pop sensation Justin Bieber shared a snippet of his hoop session on his Instagram stories. He was returning to the court after a brief haul, and it was a comeback for the ages. “Balled tf out” he proclaimed on the Instagram story. Hamilton, who has now become an entrepreneur also suggested he hit the game like Kevin Durant.

Unexpectedly, Durant responded to the claim on his own social media and asked for proof. “Imma need footage next time brother!!” he wrote in response. Hamilton’s reply suggested he had the proof of hitting a game-winner but he didn’t want to embarrass one of his hoop friends and hence decided to withhold the video.

Hamilton worked as a talent manager and security head for a short while when he crossed paths with a 14-year-old Justin Biber who was bursting onto the scene rambunctiously. Following that he decided to pursue his passion for music and founded the CHS group to handle artists and upcoming musicians.

Kevin Durant is among the few stars on the Rockets’ radar

Ever since adding instrumental pieces such as Fred VanVleet, the young and ambitious Rockets have moved on from their lottery phase and are now looking to make a surging run for the title in the upcoming season. They have a desire to add All-Star to their youthful group who can not only provide appropriate guidance but also be the anchor during the coveted postseason.

Apart from Kevin Durant, they are also exploring the situations of Jimmy Butler, Brandon Ingram, and Mikel Bridges. According to Bleacher Report, KD is unlikely to be tarded by the Suns who sold their entire future to team him up with ace Devin Booker. The favorable candidates for the Rockets seem to be either Butler or Ingram.

Butler had a public fallout with Pat Riley who made his sentiments clear about avoiding to pay aging stars. The former Sixers stalwart is seeking a two-year $113 million extension, something the Rockets can offer. Pelicans’ Brandon Ingram could also land a solid deal with Houston, however, his eligibility for a max contract could have the Rockets reluctant to make the move.
