Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, and several others catch up to witness late-night college football in Colorado. Something which Coach Prime utterly detested and openly called out. Well, he wasn’t unhappy with the celebrities marching to stadiums to witness the Buffaloes, but the timing of the game… In the late-night competition, the home side took on the Kansas State Wildcats. And, the Suns superstar, who has a big game against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, didn’t bother about the time of the day.

The Phoenix hooper, who landed in Colorado to take on the Mile High City, was spotted on the sidelines. There was an array of stars like John Wall, Carmelo Anthony, Sabathia, and Cam’ron hidden in the crowd, witnessing the action.

It wasn’t just Kevin Durant, who didn’t prioritize sleep before tomorrow’s preseason game. Notably, the Slim Reaper’s teammate Bradley Beal was also spotted. Hoopers from the Denver side like Russell Westbrook and De’Andre Jordan also joined the sidelines.

Most importantly, it isn’t a surprise anymore. Ever since Deion Sanders took over the coaching role for the Black and Gold, many celebrities have started showing up in Boulder for the games. And, at the same time, Coach Prime felt that it was quite unfair to schedule a game in late hours, only because it grabs attention.

In his latest feature in the Colorado Football Coaches Show, Sanders said, “It’s not smart for a television executive to say we’re going to put this game on at this time because you’re thinking about eyeballs… Why would you do it at that time when half of America is asleep?”

This also wasn’t the first time Coach Prime took a shot at the broadcasters, as last season he termed late kick-offs the “stupidest thing ever invented in life.” Deion Sanders may have won Americans’ hearts with his statements to keep crucial games at earlier times during the evenings, but Kevin Durant, sure, will need a big heart to face the angry Nuggets fans after he lashed out on social media.

The 2x NBA Champ has a new problem ahead of the 2024-25 season and it’s not something to do with the Suns’ roster or injuries, for that matter. The superstar has to face the wrath of the Nuggets fans for the harsh remarks he made to them during the Olympics. We all know how busy Kevin Durant was on and off the court in Paris. During games, the hooper was busy, coming off the bench and knocking down three-pointers for fun. At the same time, off the court, KD had an even more important task, responding to the naysayers. And, the commenters didn’t really care for time, sometimes; the responses came in as early as 5 AM.

During one such instance, KD rained down on the Nuggets fans for rooting against Team USA ahead of the Serbia clash! He took to his X handle and wrote, “To all you nuggets fans, nobody gives a f–k who yall lames believe is the best player in the league, players got major respect for Jok, we don’t worship him like yall do but most are in awe of his brilliance.” He didn’t leave it at that.

The Slim Reaper further added, “Trolling you cornballs for rooting against us is apart of the game. Deal wit it.” So, it’s going to be exciting to see how passionate Nuggets fans receive Kevin Durant in tomorrow’s game.
