Seventeen seasons, two championships, and fifteen All-Star badges later, Kevin Durant remains one of the top players in the NBA. At 36, proving that age is just a number, he’s taken the role of the most important player for the Phoenix Suns averaging 27.1 PPG in the ongoing season. Recently, the Slim Reaper added another accolade to his name as he became the eighth star in the league to reach 30K career points.
But, speaking of career, where does Kevin Durant‘s future lie? Is it the Suns or elsewhere? Interacting with the media after losing 112-119 against the Grizzlies on Tuesday, KD had a lot to say. How far does the superstar want to go up the ladder? One of the reporters asked him.
“Who knows, man? I want to maximize myself every day, every game,” Durant responded with honesty. He further added: “I try not to put a number on anything or predict too much and just kind of let stuff flow. Just try to stay healthy, just try to lean on our teammates, coaches, and player development. Weight guys, everybody, that’s going to help me get through. So, I’ll fit around for a little bit of time, man. About to be 37, so hopefully I have a few more to add. “

Amidst injury woes and recoveries, Kevin Durant has proven to be the sole beacon of hope for the Suns. But will he retire with them in time to come? “Man, I’m going to focus on Houston tomorrow, man. I’m not even going to go there right now,” KD replied with a smile. Surely he has something on his mind. But for now the 36-year-old is focusing on their Wednesday’s game against the Houston Rockets.
Meanwhile, one of the legends from the music industry celebrated KD’s latest achievement in the NBA.

Celebrations pour in from the world of music as Kevin Durant hits 30k career points
Undoubtedly Kevin Durant is one of the brightest stars in the NBA. He, LeBron, and Steph surely make the perfect ‘Big Three’ in basketball. And well, this is how things have been for more than fifteen years now. However, just like Bron and Curry, KD isn’t going to stop any time soon. He is aiming to maximize his fitness and performance to endure a few more years of tough grueling. Because the prize at the end of everything is the sweet reward of hard work. And in Durant’s case, it’s his 30,000 career points that he hit on Tuesday vs. the Memphis Grizzlies.
Thus, the 5x Grammy-winning rapper-singer Drake aka Instagram’s favorite @champagnepapi took to his IG Story to congratulate the NBA legend. The Canadian music mogul is a known basketball fan, he’s from Toronto and he is a Raptors boy. However, Drake never misses out on celebrating mega achievements like the one KD just undertook. Thus sharing a post from Bleacher Report, the artist captioned his Story: “30 CLIP FOR SNIPER 🦉🤞🏽”

Just so you know, KD is far from stopping. He’s here to stay for at least a few more years. Besides, he’s drawing motivation from the best in the business: LeBron James and Stephen Curry. Watching them perform at the highest level inspires him to hit the gym at 6 in the morning every day. Moreover, KD is with the Phoenix Suns for now, but who knows what the future holds.
