Currently ranked fifth on the Western Conference table, the Phoenix Suns are steadily picking up their pace. Because earlier on in the season, one of the members of their formidable trio was injured. Due to that, the Suns were struggling initially, but now as they have a healthy squad, they are finding their footing in the league.
However, in a recent TNT episode, NBA analyst Kenny Smith made a shocking comparison between the Phoenix Suns’ trio of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal and his academic experiences at the University of North Carolina. Kenny Smith talks about the current situation of the Suns and compares them to his college days at North Carolina saying, “I used to have a lot of these in college, incompletes. I think this is an incomplete kind of situation because we’ve seen them play together, but we haven’t seen them tested. I’m not really sure when they’re tested, what are they going to do defensively and what are they doing to do offensively yet.”

While appreciating Durant, Booker, and Beal’s individual abilities, Smith highlighted the significance of team success, implying that the Suns still have a lot to show.
