Kendrick Perkins Doubles Down on Declaring Ja Morant-Less Grizzlies ?Play-In? Bound

With the loss against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Memphis Grizzlies are in the bottom rock of the table. The fifteenth-position team eventually lost all six matches. Despite efforts from Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane, the Grizzlies could not avoid their sixth defeat. The tournament will be tougher at this point for them.

After the loss, the former NBA champion Kendricks Perkins took to his social media and doubled down on his previous saying.

Memphis Grizzlies to Play In-Bound

It is evidently clear that Ja Morant‘s absence is bothering the Grizzlies. The 24-year-old is suspended for 25 games after his gun-flashing in an Instagram video. Furthermore, the former NBA winner Kendrick Perkins through his X (formerly Twitter) account doubles down on his statement about the Grizzlies playing in-bound.

Perkins said, “And people were in their feelings when I said they?re going to be a play-in team this season. Don?t mind me tho and Carry the hell on?”?The Play-In Tournament will determine the teams that fill the seventh and eighth playoff seeds in each conference for the 2023 NBA Playoffs. This is figured by the board of directors before the start of the season.

Four teams in each conference will compete in the Play-In Tournament. The participants will be the teams with the seventh-highest through the 10th-highest winning percentages in each?conference.

Whether or not Morant’s coming back will solve problems for the Grizzlies are not known. But certainly, the team seems not in a good shape after so many players getting ruled out due to injuries and suspensions.
