Kawhi Leonard had a great season where his stats almost matched his previous year’s numbers. However, this time, the Klaw played 68 games in the regular season, the most since his Spurs days. Though as the history was meant to repeat, Leonard was injured in Game 2 of the playoff first round. All seemed well for the Clippers, but as Kawhi went down with an injury, the squad couldn’t hold off the Mavs. Paul George, on the other hand, gave his all, but to no avail. Fast forward to the current offseason, PG-13 is looking to sign elsewhere after declaring free agency, whereas Kawhi seems to be having the time of his life.

The Klaw turned 33 on Saturday, spending his offseason in Costa Rica. Leonard doesn’t seem to be the type of person that fans would expect to have on Instagram. However, he does exist on the platform with over 125k followers. His recent post captioned, “Another lap around the sun! 3️⃣3️⃣ ✨ Thanks for all the love 🙏🏾 “Pura Vida,” had fans in disbelief. Following the postseason exit, Leonard wasn’t really active, however, his recent post couldn’t have been uploaded at a better time, easing the tensions.

Of course, things are quite tight in LA regarding his pal Paul George. The 9-time All-Star declined his $48.7 million player option as he is looking to move on from the Clippers. But how does this affect Kawhi Leonard? Well, he will still be left with Westbrook, Harden, if he decides to come back, and others. But PG-13’s absence will be felt in all aspects.

In the past few years, Kawhi hasn’t been at his 100% because of injuries. He just turned 33 and frequent injuries can’t be a good sign. While he’s shown his potential in the regular season, he has yet to lead his team in the playoffs. The last time PG and Kawhi were both healthy in the postseason was back in 2020. Hopefully, Klaw will recover from his knee injury, as he looks like he is really feeling the holiday magic from his recent outing in the offseason! The trip to Costa Rica had fans on a spin.

Kawhi Leonard makes “coconut look like a caprisun” in the latest Patrick Beverley look-alike confusion!

While reacting to Kawhi’s recent post, fans did not hesitate to post hilarious comments. Leonard is looking quite different. His hair is not the same, he’s wearing casuals and makes half a coconut look like a small cup in his hand. But what caught fans’ attention was the overall look that he was rocking.

One of the fans commented, “This dude looks like Kawhi and Pat Bev had a baby”.

Well, his hair does resemble Beverley’s usual cut, and the fan was quick to spot it. Not only this fan, but others also noticed the resemblance to Pat. “I thought it was Pat Bev 🤣”. “Damn. He turned into Pat Bev at 33??”.

But it didn’t stop there, as fans questioned whether Kawhi Leonard was seriously an Instagram user. “Ain’t no way Kawhi got IG”. “Kawhi has IG?????”. “Since when did Kawhi have Instagram”. Another fan then made an interesting analogy from within the NBA community. The person wrote, “he’s def going the tim duncan route once he retires 😂”.

Well, the person in question has been known for having a jolly time since calling it a day from his pro career. One of those iconic moments includes him riding the waves in red shorts while hearing “Country Grammar”- 2000, Nelly! However, coming back to the hardwood, it is about time that players like Kawhi now take a detour to Paris, as they’ll soon have to dawn the USA colors.

Leonard along with LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, and others will soon be preparing for the Olympics. This year’s squad is considered one of the greatest teams to have ever assembled in modern history. And with Leonard part of it, it will be intriguing to see him fit in. Will Kawhi overcome his last stages of recovery and present himself at the practice camp fully fit?
