For many, Valentine’s Day is a time for romantic gestures—roses, candlelit dinners, and grand declarations of love. But in the world of NBA WAGs, where schedules are packed and game nights don’t pause for holidays, celebrations don’t always follow tradition. Probably realizing this, Jordyn Woods chose to do things differently.

She opted for something more intimate and meaningful—a cozy Galentine’s celebration with fellow NBA WAGs, Ali Marks and Shannon Hart. Ditching the classic dinner dates, the trio spent the evening baking cakes, sharing laughs, and exchanging thoughtful gifts.

As the ultimate host, Jordyn made sure every detail was taken care of. Beyond the sweet treats and quality time, she surprised Ali and Shannon with Biodance skincare products—beautifully wrapped as the perfect self-care takeaway.

The girls gave fans a peek into their night through Instagram. Shannon Hart kicked things off with a behind-the-scenes snap of their cakes pre-decoration, captioning it: “Cake making with the girls last night. So cute!” Later, she revealed her finished masterpiece—an elegantly frosted cake with “Hart” piped on top, adorned with a delicate red rose. But perhaps the sweetest moment? A heartfelt thank-you to Jordyn, paired with a shot of nine meticulously wrapped hosting gifts.

Ali Marks also shared a glimpse of the evening, posting a dreamy shot of their cakes placed inside glass boxes against a soft pink balloon backdrop. Her caption was short yet meaningful: “Galentine’s Day by @jordynwoods.” It wasn’t just a casual get-together—it was an experience, curated down to the smallest details.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Jordyn has turned a simple celebration into something memorable. Just a couple of months ago, she pulled off yet another perfectly executed gathering—this time, for the holidays.

Her festive girls’ pajama party had all the makings of a standout event, from holiday-themed treats to beautifully wrapped gifts, all set in a cozy, picture-perfect setting. A Knicks rep was even spotted at the entrance, making it clear: when Jordyn hosts, she doesn’t just plan an event—she creates a moment.

And while she was making magic off the court, beau Karl-Anthony Towns was cooking up something even sweeter on the court.

Is Karl-Anthony Towns the next Knicks legend, or is it too soon to tell?

Karl-Anthony Towns’ career night saved by Jalen Brunson

Towns was on fire—but for a moment, it looked like his historic night might end in disaster. With just 10 seconds left in regulation, a costly inbounds turnover helped the Hawks erase a six-point Knicks lead, sending the game into overtime. The nerves? Through the roof.

The Knicks star put on an absolute show, dropping 40+ points for the second straight game—a feat so rare in Knicks history that only legends like Bernard King, Patrick Ewing, Carmelo Anthony, and now teammate Jalen Brunson have done it before.

“I would have needed a therapist if that had ended up in an ‘L,’ I’m not going to lie to you,” Towns later admitted.

Luckily, Jalen Brunson had his back. The Knicks star drained a clutch go-ahead jumper with 11.1 seconds left, sealing a wild 149-148 win. That victory not only kept Towns’ milestone night intact but also pushed the Knicks to a 36-18 record—their best pre-All-Star break mark since the championship-winning 1972-73 season.

And now? The only thing slowing Towns down is the break itself. Fresh off a scorching 40-point game against Indiana on Tuesday, he followed it up with 44 points, 10 rebounds, and seven three-pointers—his best shooting display yet in a Knicks uniform. Not exactly the kind of momentum you want to pause.

“I’m just happy we got ourselves going into the break with momentum,” Towns said. “But it is true, it’s the worst time, right, to have something working right now.”

Momentum was definitely on his side. After battling a thumb injury that threw off his shot, Towns looked fully back to form. Brunson, who finished with 36 points, got the Knicks rolling early with 16 in the first quarter. But once Towns got going, he took over—scoring 15 of the Knicks’ first 17 in the second quarter and another 15 in the third. When overtime hit, it was Brunson’s time again, dropping six of the Knicks’ 12 extra-time points to ice the win.

Safe to say, Knicks fans are loving this duo—and if Towns keeps this up, New York might just have another legend in the making.
