Karl-Anthony Towns’ Girlfriend Jordyn Woods Reveals Couple’s “Love Language”

Something popularly known is that there are five love languages, words of affirmation (compliments), quality time, gifts, acts of service, and physical touch. Understanding these love languages is necessary for a long-lasting relationship. It is through these that partners can truly express their love and care for each other. 

It is not always one, though. People often share multiple love languages with each other. Like Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns. The model and Minnesota Timberwolves big man have been in a relationship since 2020. And now, she is dishing on the most important aspects of her relationship.

Jordyn shares their love language

In a recent interview with People magazine, internet personality Jordyn Woods shared her love language with her partner, Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns. She said, “We love gift giving and … What is it? The love language? The love language is quality time. We love everything.” 

As an example of this, Woods shared about their habit of going all out for events like birthdays and holidays. “He does so much for me. I do what I can for him”, she said and added, “I want to say it’s a lot. So when it’s time to show that appreciation, we like to go all out.” Spending quality time with each other means that you will find her at the stands during games supporting her man. This, she claims, is because she wants to be present and spend time with Towns, adding, “It’s his birthday in a few days, so I’m going to go to that game”.

Woods-Towns: relationship timeline

The couple shared the same social circle for about four years before becoming best friends. Over the pandemic, the two bonded over the loss of their loved ones. Jordyn had lost her father, John Woods, in 2017 as he passed away from cancer. Karl-Anthony’s mother, Jacqueline Cruz-Towns, passed away in 2020 after battling COVID-19. Their experiences led to their friendship blossoming into a more solid relationship.

The model shared that this bonding was the reason why they are so strong in their love. She added that the time spent helped them to understand each other before committing to something long-term. She said, “We were really good friends before we started dating, and COVID gave us that free time in our life to really get to know each other, because a lot of people don’t really get to know each other and they go into this relationship.”
