Teammates on the hardwood but foes when it comes to football. Josh Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Jalen Brunson may share the same locker room with the New York Knicks, but when it comes to the NFC Championship Game, they’re on opposite sides. After the Knicks’ dominant win over the Sacramento Kings, Brunson couldn’t resist throwing some playful shade. “Tomorrow, Josh Hart is going to the game, so Eagles fans you know what to do,” Brunson said with a grin. “Whenever you see someone not wearing Eagles gear, harass the hell out of them.”

But they didn’t have to harass him. The match was a blowout and on the receiving end were the Commanders. The Philadelphia Eagles absolutely crushed the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship Game, securing their 15th win in the last 16 games. Not only did they dominate, but they also set a record for the most points scored in a conference title game since the 1970 merger!

And that was enough for Hart to leave the game before it ended… Brunson and KAT, both die-hard Eagles fans, didn’t waste time poking fun at Hart, as his Commanders took a beating. Brunson tweeted, “Josh left before the 4th q started @joshhart.”

Towns quickly followed up and added, “I can confirm this report.” Classic trolling from the two, showcasing that their loyalty to Philly runs deep—even when their teammate’s team is getting embarrassed.

To eliminate any doubt, Brunson then shared a screenshot of Hart’s location away from the stadium with the caption “LMAO @joshhart”. But Hart wasn’t going to keep quiet with all the trolling.

Josh Hart loses money but claps back at Jalen Brunson!

What’s your perspective on:

Eagles fans, did Brunson and KAT go too far trolling Hart, or is it all in good fun?

Have an interesting take?

Turns out, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart didn’t just talk trash—they placed a bet on Sunday’s NFC Championship Game, and now Hart’s got to pay up. On a recent episode of The Putback, SNY’s Ian Begley spilled the tea. “There was a bet that was put on the table between Hart and Brunson,” Begley explained. “It hasn’t been agreed to yet, but it would be entertaining if it did come to fruition. I think those guys are still figuring it out. But I would expect some kind of bet.” Looks like Hart might be regretting his Commanders’ pick now!

While sorting their bet might take some time, Hart had a quick response to the trolling by Brunson and KAT. He came back with a zinger of his own. “Have to get home so I can sleep. One of us has to play defense tomorrow,” Hart snapped.

You can tell he’s still in good spirits, but let’s be real, it has to sting a little for someone as passionate about the Commanders as Hart. Spare a thought for KD! Josh’s Knicks teammates even roasted him last December for his love of Washington QB, Jayden Daniels.

The friendly banter between JB and Hart has been building all season, especially with the Eagles-Commanders rivalry heating up. The last time the Eagles and the Commanders faced each other on 22 December, the Knickerbockers were going off on X then too.

“We aren’t friends nor teammates today. We are just coworkers,” Hart had posted, tagging JB and KAT. As the Commanders-Eagles game unfolded, Hart and Brunson kept things heated with GIFs and phone calls—likely filled with plenty of trash talk as their teams faced off. In the end, Josh Hart got the last laugh. But today it was Brunson and KAT.
