Before it was Emo Jimmy, it was the Miami Heat star’s dreadlocks that raised a few eyebrows. His antics are nowhere near at par with Kanye West (who had a roller-coaster presidential bid), but it comes close. West is back to what he does best now, making music and dissing his enemies.

Even before his song, “Vultures,” dropped, West had riled up fans for blatantly mentioning Butler, the Miami Heat, and his hair extensions in one sarcastic line. ?‘This ain?t Jimmy Butler, but the Heat got extensions’?? Kanye West in unreleased song ?Vultures’” a social media user revealed.
Ye and Ty Dolla $ign collaborated with Lil Durk and Bump J for the first release since Kim Kardashian’s ex’s recent controversy (which also gets mentioned in the track) on November 17. He and Butler and have not had a direct interaction before this but in terms of their respective antics, fans often pit them together.?It seems West noticed it.
Butler had a big reveal of his dreadlocks on social media in the 2022 offseason. He was cryptic about whether it’s real or not throughout, frustrating Twitterverse. If you go by West’s opinion, they’re “extensions.”

The dreadlocks – fake or not – were gone by the time the NBA season started. Butler was back to his regular hairstyle and in form. He’s not reacted to Kanye West and likely won’t since he’s a self-described country music diehard. But he’s successfully keeping the attention on him this season too.

Jimmy Buckets’ game does the talking
The emo phase was short-lived too after the media day. The Butler?was back to standard fashion for the NBA regular season. He’s letting his game do the talking now. He’s been instrumental in keeping the Heat on a winning streak in a spectacular fashion.
The team was on a six-game winning streak when Butler also scored a season-high 32 points. He led the Heat to a 122-115 victory once more over the Brooklyn Nets with 36 points in the next game. Butler scored 5 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks, leading his team to their seventh straight win.
