Jrue Holiday was recently traded to the Boston Celtics during the offseason. When it comes to Jrue Holiday, often debates spark about how good he really is. Despite this, he has a number of accolades to his name that speak for themselves; Jrue is a 2X NBA All-Star and 5X NBA All-Defensive Team member. Moreover, he has also won a Championship with the Milwaukee Bucks. Andre Iguodala knew that Jrue Holiday was different

Andre shares his thoughts on Clutch Points, “He [Jrue Holiday] is the most underrated player of this generation.” He strongly believes that Jrue Holiday should have made it to the All-Defensive Team every year that he has been in the league. “I spent some time with him in Philly, I saw that at a young age, this guy is different,” Andre said.

Jrue seems to maximize the potential of every team he’s ever been on, and this has been mostly overlooked. Andre admits that he is a huge fan of Jrue Holiday and despite the other narratives that are out there, he knows what Jrue brings to the table.

Apart from this, Andre thinks that the Celtics will make it to the Finals as they have everything that is needed as a team; he says, “I’m going with the Celtics until they prove me wrong.” He adds that the Bucks are also a very talented team and a close contender if they can “delegate the responsibilities with who’s handling the ball.”

The Chicago Bulls‘ Zach LaVine is right behind Andre in saying that Jrue is a player who deserves more credit and recognition. Zach, who is a seasoned player himself, had said that Jrue Holiday does get enough credit for what he contributes to the game, both offensively and defensively.
