Thursday was a big night for Minnesota as their former star, Karl-Anthony Towns, returned for a homecoming game. The state welcomed the Dominican big man with open arms. With temperatures dipping to a chilly -5°C and snow covering everything, it felt like a scene out of a Disney fairy tale. KAT’s girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, made the most of it by flaunting her fashionable attire and her girlies went gaga for her look.

Woods posted a series of pictures on Instagram featuring a stunning backdrop with bare tree branches covered in snow, along with snow-covered shrubs and ground. She captioned the post, “Minnesota, how generous of you to roll out the white carpet for us 🌬️❄️.” In the middle of this perfect winter scene stood the Life of Kylie actress, dressed in an all-black outfit. Woods wore a black jumpsuit, and a fur overcoat, and paired them with pointed boots adorned with fur details up to the knee. The 27-year-old carried a white Lady Dior and completed her look with a necklace and a pair of stud earrings.

Even in the chilly weather, KAT’s girlfriend kept her fashion game strong. Her breathtaking pictures left her friends in awe, with many rushing to comment. Failing to contain her excitement, Suni Lee, the 2x Olympic gold medalist gymnast, wrote, “omg 😍😍😍😍.” Her sister, Jodie Woods, flooded the post with heart-eye emojis. More support came from her new connections, the Knicks wives, Shannon Phillips and Ali Brunson. While Josh Hart’s wife had a similar reaction to Jodie’s, Jalen Brunson’s wife, Ali, commented, “What a gorgeous welcome home for y’all.” Indeed, it was a grand welcome.

KAT had to make his former franchise regret letting a talented powerhouse like him go. And he did just that. Before halftime, New York had built a 22-point lead, which extended to 26 by the end of the night, thanks to the 7-footer and his outstanding dominance at both ends of the court.

KAT accurately hit 5 shots from beyond the arc and was as efficient from the field, shooting 10-of-12 on target. He made sure his stat line stood out by the end of the game and it certainly did. The offensive center contributed 32 points to the scoreboard, grabbed 20 rebounds, distributed 6 assists to his teammates, and added 2 steals. His double-double was a game-high, with no one coming close to matching his performance. With his brilliance, he helped secure a 133-107 victory for his side.

Even though KAT got his revenge on the T’Wolves, it must have hurt him deep down to go up against his former team. But at the end of the day, everything comes down to business.
