While the Knicks were prepping for the Warriors, Karl-Anthony Towns’ name was dropped from the roster. For personal reasons, they mentioned. His absence wouldn’t have been a major concern for the fanbase if his girlfriend’s cryptic X post, “F— cancer,” hadn’t gotten them worried. That sparked speculation about the well-being of her and KAT. The concerns were especially about KAT since he missed the game against the Warriors due to personal reasons. But ending all the rumors, the picture is now finally clear after Jordyn clarified the situation.
“Thank you for all of your prayers and concern,” Woods stated on her Instagram story, acknowledging the fans who had sent their prayers following her post about cancer. And then, she opened up about the loss in an emotional message, “I had to bury one of the closest people to me yesterday after she lost her battle to breast cancer. Life isn’t always fair. She will be missed tremendously. 🤍🕊️”
She further shared a series of pictures in an Instagram post, reflecting on her childhood, where the person she lost was holding little Jordyn Woods in her arms. The caption read, “My guardian angels 🤍🕊️ I’ve had some time to sit with this and can’t seem to find the words to do you justice. She wouldn’t want us to feel sorry she would want us to celebrate her life. Love you forever and thank you all for your messages.”

And it wasn’t just Woods who was reliving past memories, Towns too was taken back to his time in Minnesota due to this loss.
