Jayson Tatum accomplished another milestone in his illustrious career by becoming the youngest Boston Celtics player to score 10,000 points. Tatum achieved this feat in the second quarter of the game against the Brooklyn Nets. Tatum finished the game with 32 points and led his team to their fifth straight victory. The Boston Celtics are undefeated this season.

Jayson Tatum has started the season in incredible form. He is averaging 30.2 points and 9.6 rebounds so far this season, and his elite performance has kept the Celtics undefeated through the first five games. The 25-year-old superstar added to his legacy by crossing the 10,000-point mark against the Brooklyn Nets. Tatum spun to the lane for a tough layup through contact for his 9,999th point. He got fouled on the play and hit his 10,000th career point on the resulting free throw. That shot made him the youngest player in the Celtics’ history to reach 10,000 points.
