The feud between Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler and Pat Riley is not new. However, this time around things have taken a sillier turn. This comes after Butler who is currently suspended after requesting a trade away from Miami. Following his seven-game suspension, Butler recently posted several videos on his Instagram.

The forward was seen working at his newly opened coffee shop “Bigface”. Interestingly, in one of the videos Butler was seen patting his employee on the back who was making a cup of coffee. As he said to him, “See, I gave you a compliment. That’s what bosses do. They build you up, they don’t break you down.” Which seemed to be a subtle shot at Heat president Pat Riley.

This seems to be a shot at Pat Riley as he was among the Heat management who denied Butler for an extension last summer, hence starting this transfer saga. After saying that in the video Butler smirked while putting his thumbs up further, signaling the viewers to speculate that this was directed to the Heat president.

It’s no secret that Jimmy Butler and Pat Riley have some tension between them. This goes way back to last year when Riley publicly took shots at Butler for not being available for the playoff games. One fan wrote, “I just know Pat is somewhere in Miami tweaking rn” suggesting the Heat president must be fuming after watching the video.

Another follower suggested that Phoenix Suns owner Matt Ishbia will take good care of the veteran commenting, “Come on down Jimmy, Ishbia will take care of you with no issues.” Furthermore, he attached an edited picture of Butler in a Suns jersey alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker as Phoenix is reportedly a landing spot for Butler as he looks for a new home.

At the same time, a follower further cleared any speculations about Butler staying in Miami once his seven-game ban is lifted.
